Suneer
Babu, 6 yrs old, son of Mr. Johnson P.V., is
affected with Acute
Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. He receives
treatments from R.C.C. (Regional Cancer Center.
Thiruvananthapuram). The advice from the RCC is
to receive the treatment for 2½ more years.
Mr.
Johnson is a labor and with the money he earns (Indian
Rupees 80.00 a day, i.e. Less than US$ 2 a day ), he
was not able to take his kid for the treatment. So the
Good Hearts of the village supported their best to
continue the first stage of treatment and now, again
they face a huge financial crisis.
Now for
each the next stages of treatment they require Rs.
75,000/- (i.e. US$ 1786) according to the |

official
calculation of RCC and the total expense
for the travel, stay, food etc. is calculated by the
Village committee is Rs. 1,25,000
(i.e. US$ 2976).
This is not affordable by him or the poor people those
support him.
So here
